It means that something beautiful and full of life has appeared in the midst the darkness and the clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color energy and hope.' These girls are so loved... and so wanted, and so was their brother who watches over them. Being pregnant with them has been so amazing and so thrilling! I only wish their brother was here to welcome them as well. I feel so blessed to have had this series of photos taken by @ashlycollinsphotography and @mothandmoonphotography I owe them the biggest thank you for capturing the emotion that went into our maternity session. They made me feel so beautiful and comfortable in every photo. But as we finished the session and put the paint on my hands and on my belly, the tears just flowed. Tears for my lost baby boy who I never got to hold, tears for the years we tried so hard for this pregnancy, and tears of happiness that in a few months time I will get to meet and hold my girls. Riley & Xander were born at 32W 5D, while Zuri, Mack & Bailey were born just shy of 36W. We are grateful to have had minimal time (2 weeks) in the NICU with the twins, while the trips came home with mom and dad at discharge. LOOK AT GOD. While we celebrate today, we also lend our hearts and empathy to all those mamas who spent weeks and months traveling to and fro to care for their littles they had to leave behind. We love you.
