While we regret it has taken us time to make our first post, the current state of our community provides us with the rare opportunity to make an impact with what we choose as our first post. We stand in solidarity with the protestors utilizing their first amendment rights to speak up against the blatant and disgusting mistreatment and abuses, which have had lights shined on them and brought out of the darkness in which they grow. We look forward to the day protests do not le...ad to riots and the day when protests are not needed. With this post we take our first step, one of many more to come. Been waiting a while to make a first post, because it had to be a good one. The checks cleared on one of our first cases today. Exited and proud to announce we were able to resolves the matter for $175,000.00, not including reimbursement of his medical bills and disability payments and the such. Our then-60-year-old client was working at the LAX remodel back in 2015 when he tripped over guide-wire and injured his shoulder, hips, back, and knee and was forced to undergo multip...le surgeries. We were able to push through discovery and delay tactics including multiple depositions in San Diego where we caught them in lies forcing them to re-evaluate their positions. Ultimately, we were able to push them all the way to $175,000.00, over triple their starting offer and despite their contentions that our client was a drug addict who was never injured and that even if he was it wasn’t their fault. The mediator had to stay several hours after our time ran out in order to get us to a number that made sense and brought us closest to compensating our client for what he had to endure while minimizing any risks that naturally come with trials.
