I just dropped off my painting to the deYoung Museum this morning!! They are collecting all 881 works of art every day for the next 3 weeks in order to have it ...all ready to open when they are given the OK. It is called the deYoung Open Show. The last time they had an open call show was in 1932. This show represents art from 9 bay area counties in celebration of the deYoung's 125th anniversary! There were 11,518 images of artworks submitted and 881 works created by 763 artists were selected. I feel pretty lucky! See more

WASCO MARCH 12, 2020 MEETING-$5 Guest Fee Julie Cohn a teacher of watercolor painting for over 30 years - 20 years at College of Marin. She has exhibited her ar...twork nationally, been a juror for a variety of art exhibits in California and has shown her artwork in many museums. She is the author of two watercolor DVDs, color wheels and a book on color. She also teaches small groups in Berkeley, and conducts workshops in Sonoma and internationally.
