Dr. (Major) Kamla Tewari, (lower left with husband Krishna and Dr. Karan Singh) MBBS, DGO, left her body peacefully on September 29, 2020 at 18:30 hrs, surrounded by her loving family. Kamla was born on 4th April 1927 in Jammu. From a young age, Kamla had made up her mind to study medicine, completing her MBBS degree at Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi in 1950.
