Australian authorities have taken legal action against more than 180 people, including 40 juveniles. 24 people have been charged with deliberately setting fires. In the midst of the fires, 25 people have died, as well as nearly half a billion animals.

Two dozen people are facing charges for deliberately setting bushfires in Australia this season as record-large infernos continue to burn across the country.

The Miller brewery in Irwindale, a visible fixture for drivers on the 210 Freeway for 40 years, will cease production this year. But it could be potentially sold to Pabst, the company says.

BREAKING NEWS: At least five people were killed and 60 were hospitalized with injuries after a major accident Sunday on the Pennsylvania Turnpike involving a tour bus and multiple semi-trucks, according to a turnpike spokesperson.

A federal court judge recently ruled that truck drivers are temporarily exempted from the requirements of AB 5, a controversial law that just took effect today.... That law requires independent contractors, which many truck drivers are, be reclassified as employees. When this bill was going through the Legislature earlier this year, truck drivers were among the fiercest opponents, preferring their independent contractor status. According to the California Trucking Association, over 70,000 truckers are independent owner-operators and this law would hurt them financially and threaten their livelihood. See more
