2020 has been a huge setback for all of us in the wedding industry. One thing that we cannot do is just sit back and let 2020 roll by. Before we know it it’s going to be 2021 and the only way to save our businesses is to keep going! I know it’s hard to do this, trust me. I had 42 weddings this year and 35 of them postponing until next year. This year was supposed to be my biggest year yet and that all came crumbling down so fast. What a lot of people don’t understand is that ...for individuals like myself, this isn’t just affecting us this year, it will also affect us extremely hard next year. So instead of just sitting around and letting this year pass us by. I have teamed up with a group of vendors to offer elopement/intimate wedding packages. Next year a lot of us will have our schedule jampacked with weddings. This is an alternative way for us to leave available space for new brides. So for all of you who have asked if I’m not doing big weddings anymore, of course I am. I’m just trying to find an alternate way to keep going. As of right now I only have about six weddings for the rest of the year. Most venues are still not allowing weddings or have really strict guidelines. Eloping might not be your ideal wedding initially but I can guarantee you won’t regret it See more
