Avant Gardener, the

Our Central Ohio Avant Gardener Demonstration Garden in Westgate Columbus in late September. Over 100 varieties of long blooming, winter excitement plants. This garden was planted 5 months ago. This May there was just lawn and a white garage. All else is new. Not visible is the cable railed deck and slider door we installed at the same time as the gazebo. Expanding my business to Central Ohio, I thought that I'd be unable to create many of the beautiful effects I have created in Northern Californian gardens over the last few decades. Just in the last year I have discovered that this magic can be as amazing here as on the West Coast! And there are special parts of the Central Ohio landscape, which are as amazing as anything in a Californian garden. This winter I will assess and further refine the Winter Garden.

Newly planted crocus blooming in the fall in Central Ohio! (at least the ones the squirrels did not dig up and eat) Hopefully they'll bloom equally well in the spring as well.
