A beveled window in the process of being re-leaded.
One sheet of Kokomo 111 Opalescent glass viewed three ways: 1 of 3 Sunlight behind a small section of the sheet. These pictures still don't give this piece of Kokomo justice; one way, dark and dramatic, and another, these radiant shades. That's the beauty of glass done well. The people at Kokomo are glass gods, and one of our favorite glass makers.

One sheet of Kokomo 111 Opalescent glass viewed three ways: 3 of 3 A little light above it, but none behind it.
Harry Clarke, Titania and Bottom, from A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Act IV, scene i) by William Shakespeare. Paint on glass for a private collector, November 28, 1921 (Apparently Clarke had to mend one version because it was damaged in the kiln. Even genius has problems in the kiln!)... We hope your summer is beautiful.
These are some more detail pictures of the Hummingbird window that I started posting a few weeks ago.

Glass of the Month: This is a piece of glass found in a large buy of late 18th century stained glass, and painted windows. I wish I could really show how much gold comes through in the light. Without light behind it, it's a deep red.
The window in the middle of construction. I'll post pictures of the flowers, and the end result in about a week.
This is right before they begin to foil it. I'll list the glass used in about a week.
