This evening, Eagle Scout candidate Tyler Martin and a crew of volunteers began Tyler’s community project: a sensory path at Auburn Elementary! Why do we want a sensory path? Studies show movement stimulates cognitive activity, which means kids may learn better when they’ve been active. Teachers can bring their students to the sensory path as a way to give them a movement break.
