Teaching gold panning to First Graders at Carmel Elementary School in Hesperia. Volunteers from the club help to make this event possible. These first graders will remember finding gold (BB's) for a long time.

Mining Supplies and Rock Shop will be hosting two classes during the month of May. The shop is located at 9565 C Ave. in Hesperia. Phone 760.244.9642. www.miningsuppliesandrockshop A wire wrapping class is the first Sunday of every month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The fee is $45.00. This class teaches individual how to take a stone and wrap it with wire resulting in a beautiful wearable necklace. A sphere class will be given on May 5, 2016. This class will teach the art of taking a rough rock and making it into a round ball. A fee of $5.00 an hour will be charged.

Our General Meeting is every 3rd Thursday of the Month at 7 pm. We are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.. come and see what we are all about and bring the family and friends. Our meetings are held at the Victor Villa Mobil Home Park, 13393 Mariposa Rd. Victorville, CA 92395. The mobile home park is directly behind the Red Roof Inn on Mariposia. After you go thru the main entrance go straight for 2 stop signs where there is a USA flag in front of the Rec center. Lots of parking. please do not block home driveways.
