As we are gearing up for Thanksgiving, let's take a look back at our last Holiday Celebration: the Halloween Carnival! Candy, costumes, games and prizes were a 'scream' on Halloween! Residents could go, Candy Corn bowling, test their skill with foam darts, guess the weight of a pumpkin, try their luck at a cup toss game and enjoy classic Halloween songs all while staying safe and socially distant. #AtriaTogether #spreadlovenotgerms

A special salute to our Veteran's went out yesterday. Here at Atria Fresno we have more than 60 Veteran's and Veteran Spouses. To thank them for their service we gave them dark chocolate 'Purple Hearts', served them their favorite drinks and watched the virtual 2020 Fresno Veteran's Day Parade. Shared some much needed 'positiviTEA' throughout our community last Wednesday for Happy Hour. Residents enjoyed a hot cup of tea with positive messages provided by our staff. The magic, the music, and the mystery of the Phantom of the Opera came door to door to residents this Wednesday for Happy Hour. Residents enjoyed their favorite wines, a rose-water lemonade and a chocolate cupcake for the event. #AtriaTogether

Trick or Treat! This week's Happy Hour was Halloween themed with Candy bags and ‘Boo’-ze as well as (non-alcoholic) Witches Brew! Our Resident Bill was in the spirit and showed off his Halloween Décor and Resident Helen was please as pie to receive her usual cocktail . For Dinner? What fun! Bailey's Irish Cream was served with iced coffee, caramel macchiatos and hot coffee along side cinnamon coffee cakes. YUM! We also did a sampling of light, medium and dark roast coffees. Our 'One in a Melon' Happy Hour gave our residents a festive taste of summer (without the heat). We even made a watermelon God's Eye craft to celebrate. With refreshing drinks and appetizing watermelon salsa and chips delivered right to their rooms, its just one of the way we are staying #atriasafetogether.
