Meet one of our clinicians, Dr.Solis Dr.Grethel Solis, PsyD Bilingual Psychological Assistant (PSB940020988) ... My name is Grethel Solis, and I reside in Los Angeles, CA. I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Psychology and Law from the University of Southern California (USC) and a MA in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I recently completed my PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) program at Cal Southern University. I have extensive experience helping women with history of domestic abuse and traumatization through my work at Centro de Bienestar Familiar as well as volunteering for the police department DART team. I understand the complexity and underlying issues related to domestic violence and therefore I can understand the victim's roles, patterns, trauma, and healing process. Similarly, I work with the children of these victims who also go through their own traumatization with potential detrimental consequences to their healthy developmental process.
