ACOG and th...e Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine continue to advise that all pregnant women follow the CDC guidance in preventing COVID-19 infection and take precautions to minimize exposure to COVID-19. ACOG and SMFM will continue to monitor data as it becomes available on COVID-19 and its effect on pregnant women. We encourage all physicians and health care professionals to refer any COVID pregnant patients to collaborating registries, as these data are critical to understanding the impact of COVID-19 on pregnant patients and their infants. Similar policies are in place locally. Please contact us about your upcoming appointments with us. We are trying to convert non-urgent appointments to audio/video televisits. We will space your prenatal visits out to when it is necessary to come in person. Thank you for your understanding.

* If it’s not urgent or essentially necessary, postpone your wellness appointment (AAFP, CDC) * The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends young children who require vaccines or newborns still continue their wellness visits (AAP). * We will have a modified schedule for our pregnant patients and frequency of appointments (ACOG).... * CALL us to check in and wait in your car. We can let you know if a room is ready or call you when an exam room is available. This can eliminate waiting times in our office lobby. Cover your cough and sneeze. Wash hands with soap and water. Practice social distancing. Stay at home except for essential needs. Keep us all safe.
