This disparity hurts not only Latinas, but also the families and communities they support. As we observe National Fire Prevention Month, I am proud that my Assembly Bill 2730 has been signed into law! This new law will improve our ability to quickly evacuate members of vulnerable populations, like our seniors, when disasters strike. I authored this bill in response to the 2019 #HillFire in Jurupa Valley. It is imperative that our state ensures that when disasters strike, no one is left behind. #AD60
