So this week, I have to admit, Monday rolled around and I was feeling a holiday hangover and feeling a little bit like 'Oh, can't I watch one more binge day of TV?' and I had great appointments that picked me up and got me reinvigorated in my business. I onboarded a couple new great coaching clients. I had some really great meetings with great collaborators, some of my referral team are collaborating on projects, and my week was phenomenal. So if you feel a little bit, lethargic or are reluctant to get going, don't feel alone. We all feel that every now and again, and one of the best ways to get out of it is to have a well built network of great business relationships that could just ease you back into things and those meetings and events and collaborative projects and great referral clients are going to pull you back into your A game, and you're gonna feel amazing and confident and in the zone again with your business. Happy Holidays. I'm Maile Collmer, certified business coach, specializing in business development through relationships. And I want to wish you a very happy holiday season. It's my favorite time of year. I want to ask you, who do you know what business owner do you know who could use the gift of spending time on their business? So not in their business. That's so easy to do where we're working with clients and doing all the busy, busy things that we do but actually working on... the business where we get to work on that strategy and things for ourselves, for our business. I have a number of clients who are actually marketing consultants. They spend a lot of time helping other people market their businesses. And it's kind of that old phrase you know, cobbler without, you know, kids don't have shoes or whatever that is, right? And sometimes their marketing gets waylaid and put on the back burner and not updated. And, you know, one of my clients was commenting this week that she's gotten so much done and and she really started working with me so she would have that time set aside to work on her business, and now she's got new marketing sheets, testimonials that have been collected and utilized in her marketing. She's blogging for herself. She blog's for her clients all the time, but now she's blogging for herself, updating her website and being more strategic in her overall marketing strategy, including having that time to really have great intention on what she's asking for when she's at her business referral group, or at networking opportunities, and knowing what she's going to say and and how she's going to say it and what she's going to ask for. So, you know, are you spending enough time working on your business? And what business owner do you know who could spend more time working on their business? Because when we spend that time to work on our business, we start to feel more in control of our business. We feel more on top of our business. More organized and we know the actions were taking are actually heading, leading us towards our vision and our goals. So when it comes to the holiday season or just time in general, taking the weekend off for taking a long weekend off for taking a week or two off. We feel more confident about taking that time off because we feel more in control of our business, and we know that we've got things taking care of and on the right track. So I hope that you have a phenomenal holiday season and be able to take the time off. I know I'm going to be spending some great time with my mom. We love to do jigsaw puzzles. We do 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. We watch movies, we drink wine and we do go for our nice daily walks as well. So I hope you have a phenomenal holiday time off time away from your business so you can hit the ground running and be refreshed in your business.
