In 2015, I started a self portrait that I titled "Swan Song", being the last time I could picture myself naked (juggling eggs in the fast lane.) It mostly refers to my life, juggling too much all the time. The painting is 60" x 40", with a painted frame that is 6 inches wide.

In 2012, I was asked to participate in a fundraiser for Heal the Bay, so I did this surfboard in my decorative Roman style. I'd already done one in 2006 that I rode for 3 years before a big closeout wave cracked it, and it still sold to someone afterwards!

The second piece I did for the Spallinos was last year, 2020. I took Diego Rivera as an inspiration, though this piece is all my design. Celebrating the dance!

In 2015, our good friends the Spallinos commissioned me to paint something about grapes for their dining area. I decided to make something honoring the people who do the work to make it all happen. I ended up doing a pretty elaborate frame for it, with elements of farming and eating.

In 2015, I found my people! I had heard about the Salon for many years, but I finally made it there in 2015. The Salon is a group of decorative painters who meet once a year in a different location. My first time was in Lecce, IT, and I made a lot of good friends there. The second one happened in St Petersburg, RU, but my accident got in the way of that one. Since then, we've met up in NYC, Leeuwarden, NL, and Chamonix, FR, and had to cancel in China last year for Covid 19 reasons. Each time we meet, we bring a panel for the show, and work on another while we're there. Amazing art skills are really fun to see and watch.
