In our body, we have at least 650 muscles. Woah! How about in our business? What if we look at the different activities in our business as having corresponding muscles that -- when you exercise them regularly -- get nice and strong and make those activities easy. I remember how nervous I used to get when talking to potential clients about the investment details section of our proposals. Sure, I still get nervous from time to time, but, in general, that is no longer a cause o...f stress for me. You might say that I developed my talking-about-money muscle. Since I exercise it regularly, it stays strong and is at the ready whenever I need it. Over the past few years, I've been regularly exercising my emailing-your-list muscle. Now it's nice and strong! That activity -- which used to be a huge time suck and cause me a lot of stress -- is now super easy and efficient. My social-sharing muscle on the other hand? Eeek... It is in need of a personal trainer! To help flesh out this idea of Marketing Muscles, we created a fun infographic. Check it out: https://www.artsygeek.com/develop-your-marketing-muscles/

2020 is here. (WOAH, how did that happen?) The outset of a new year is a convenient and empowering time to set inspiring and reasonable goals for ourselves. Our workbook guides you through setting reasonable and specific goals that are actually achievable. ... Our Visual Goal Tracker keeps you on track throughout the year thanks to the Seinfeld Strategy: Don't Break the Chain! Years ago, Seinfeld explained his method for success to an up-and-coming comedian: each January, he would hang a large year-at-a-glance calendar on his wall. Every day that he would work on new material, he would draw a big red X through that day, creating a chain of red Xs. This visual feedback kept him motivated to keep writing and he claims it was the secret to his (immense) success. Get visual feedback on where you are with your goals with our Visual Goal Tracker. Post it somewhere you will see it on a daily basis (say...bathroom mirror?). Simply color in the bubble every Sunday if you’ve achieved your goal the week before. This will keep your goals top of mind for the busy year ahead. And try not to break the chain! Our Visual Goal Tracker is part of our FREE "Let’s Do This" Down 'n' Dirty Goal Setting Workbook. Download it for FREE here: https://www.artsygeek.com//the-lodge/goal-setting-workbook/ Have you downloaded it? What did you think?
