Meet our newest member of our team! Welcome Julia!!!!!! Fun Fact: Julia is from Los Angeles and recently moved back after living in Nashville for a year assisting a hit country songwriter! Bio: Julia is a singer-songwriter and educator whose passion for Music Education and Social Change was sparked in high school when she attended the LA County High School for the Arts, where she graduated a year early. During this time, she started working in tandem with the Western ...Justice Center in order to help create bias free classrooms using the arts as a training tool for teachers. She graduated the Berklee College of Music at the age of 19 with a degree in Music Education & Music Business. She was named RA of the Year in her 3rd and last year of college, and was accepted to an internship post-graduation in which she spent a year assisting a singer-songwriter with his musical debuting in Chicago while also helping a Children’s Museum open up their very first music exhibit: Soundbox. Julia is a firm believer in arts education not only as an outlet for creativity, but as a means of self-expression and a way to improves students’ skills in musical AND non-musical spaces. She is incredibly excited to be on the South Pasadena Arts & Music Academy team and is so grateful to be contributing to such a beautiful place that is making music education more accessible to all.
