Art Acacia Gallery & Consulting 23.03.2021

It’s been a while since we posted here. However all this time was dedicated to bring more artists and more works to our gallery portfolio and also to organize a new cultural space where we invite incredible guest speakers talk about art, culture and social change. Follow our other account (@the_different_level ) for more updates on events and talks. Today though, we would like to present you a new artist - Olayanju Dada, who creates breathtaking collages from found objects. O...layanju was born in Nigeria, grew up in India and now work from Germany. His art, in a way, is a poetic representation of these diverse experiences, connecting Africa, Asia and Europe together. Through found objects, the artist is ‘translating displaced objects to a further state of meaning and symbolic essence, creating a 're-entry' into the flow of cultural transactions and narratives.’ More works by the artist available online (link in bio). Dreamy colorful artworks by Peter Doig. Painting both from memory or and photographs or old postcards, Doig transforms his imagery to evoke a mood of experience - a sense of ‘being there’. ‘I’m trying to create something that is questionable, something that is difficult, if not impossible, to put in words’. Enjoying figurative contemporary art? - Join us this Wednesday as we dive into the subject and learn more about some of the most famous paintings and the stories behind them. Friday inspiration from amazing artist - Kenturah Davis! ‘Breath as a Boundary’, oil paint applied with stamp letters on paper. The artist explores human identity and language that defines not only our self-expression but also how we perceive ourselves, others and the world in general.
