Summer Solstice is upon us!!! It is our wish that you take this day, the longest day of the year, to fill it with things that bring you joy, bring you memories, bring you growth and bring you closure. May your days moving forward be filled with sunshine.

Happy Flag Day. The more you know: America’s Flag Day marks the Second Continental Congress’ adoption of the first U.S. national flag on June 14, 1777. The first flag, thanks to Betsy Ross’ sewing prowess, featured the same 13 red and white stripes we see today. The number and arrangement of stars, however, has changed as the number of states have increased over the centuries. The current flag has remained the same since 1960.

Happy Birthday Army!!!! Join the celebration of the U.S. Army Birthday on June 14 as we remember its creation in 1775. The army originally consisted of volunteer soldiers with roots to the Continental Army and was formed to fight the Revolutionary War. Today, as the largest branch of the U.S. military, the proud men and women of the U.S. Army continue to provide peace and security for all of us.

When small business dreams are fueled by providing joy and care for the community it yields big things for all. Thank you Chef Claudia Sandoval, #cochidorado your passion for community is as strong as the day we met. It was such an honor to get to enjoy your yummy treats with our hard working staff. If anyone needs a little sunshine during these gloomy times please go see her, baked goods make everyone happy.

On this Memorial Day, we remember you, we honor you and we reflect on those that made the ultimate sacrifice and thank you for your service.
