We're excited to announce another promotion! Nancy came to AA in 2019 and quickly became a valuable resource on several key projects including the NextGen Bus Plan, OC Streetcar and AnaheimFirst. In addition to her stellar project work, all of our project teams draw on Nancy's expertise with GIS and other tech tools. Congratulations, Nancy.

#StayingConnected: Has there ever been a better time to connect with the community virtually? AA recently facilitated a virtual meeting for City of Corona - City Government McKinley Grade Separation Project. The meeting informed the public and key stakeholders on the latest project updates. Additionally, AA used interactive channels to engage the community to help select the bridge color and design elements.

Our staff had a fun time taking part in a Halloween pumpkin carving contest. We had some creative entries, which one is your favorite?

We may not have been able to participate in person this year but Rail~Volution was special nonetheless! We had an opportunity to participate virtually with some of the biggest movers and shakers in the country and this year's virtual conference. On Wednesday, AA Project Manager Melissa Holguin had the opportunity to hear from HDR's Peter Calthorpe, who gave a keynote address regarding Transit Oriented Development, which culminated in this stellar graphic recording of the presentation

This week our staff supported a series of three Metro Los Angeles virtual public workshops for the 2021-2024 Coordinated Plan Update. The CPU workshops were designed to receive input from the public concerning the transportation needs of seniors, persons with disabilities, and low-income populations in LA County. These meetings included accessibility features like ASL and Spanish interpreters as well as live captions.

We're all ears! Our staff is attending a round table discussion with San Bernardino County Transportation Authority - SBCTA. We’re glad to be joining their 2nd Annual State of Transportation this morning.

We are elated to see the Metro Los Angeles NextGen Bus Plan approved by the Metro Board today. Our staff has worked incredibly hard to support the agency's effort to enhance and streamline bus service in LA County.

#TechTuesday: Our staff is testing out some new livestream equipment we use for outreach events and streaming construction or demolition projects like we did in support of the Caltrans HQ / Metro Los Angeles I-5 Corridor Improvements Project when we setup a livestream of a bridge demolition in Burbank.

Happy birthday, Instagram. We’ve loved the trends across the decade. From the #dollypartonchallenge to the ten-year challenge and, most recently, a lot of variety of #wfh posts, we have enjoyed them all. However, what we have enjoyed the most is having to plan, strategize, and execute winning content for our clients. Thanks, Instagram, for keeping our clients connected throughout the years.
