Fun project with the kids... start plant seeds in your egg cartons or cut the plastic water bottles in half, use pieces of paper towels as soil. They don't need sun as much as they need warmth. A warm place is the top of the fridge. Keep them moist and in a week or two they will be ready to move to larger containers or out to your yard.
