Our Micro-Adjust Remote looking good! What is the Micro-Adjust Button? With the D1x Trail, the user sets each individual shift-point, so your shifting stays extremely precise! However, if you feel that one gear is slightly off while riding, simply press your remote's micro-adjust button to enter "micro-adjust mode." Then you can adjust that shift-point with your shift buttons 1/4mm at a time! Reason #5,298 I’m loving my D1X: The other day I was riding with a buddy and my drivetrain was making weird sounds. No big deal...I’ll just micro adjust on the fire road to the next trail. Didn’t seem to fix the issue so I stoped and did the old are there sticks jammed in my gears inspection and discovered that I had actually destroyed my cassette. Some say it was a rock, others my massive torque producing quads but either way shredded. Flipped my bike upside down and build a new configuration with the app that turned my 1x12 into a 1x10 and programmed it to skip the trashed part of the cassette. Hopped on a continued my shred sesh with massive success. That afternoon I rummaged through the parts bin and found an old 11 speed cassette and slapped it on until I decide on what I want to put on the rear end more permanently. Thanks again for making such an awesome product that has literally helped me to ride more and spend less time working on my bike. I love that I am using any old cassette I want on the rear an oval on the front a 12 speed chain (with 2 quick links installed) and an 11 speed derailer. Yup my drivetrain is a mutt and we all know mutts make the best kinds of dogs. I attached some pics of my bike and the shredded cassette.
