Congratulations to the staff and advisor of yearbook! The Excalibur was named a National Yearbook Program of Excellence, which recognizes it as part of top 5 percent of programs in the nation.

The freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors just announced themes for the school's first-ever Spirit Week during distance learning. Mark your calendars for the week of October 20th! It's gonna be a great week of fun, interactive competition, and Mitty spirit!

Mrs. Nguyen's 6th Period Biology Class attended a live call to outer space today! Students were able to join a live question and answer session with a NASA Astronaut at the International Space Station.

Congratulations to Adarsh, who was named an International Eco-Hero by Action for Nature! The award recognizes him for developing an affordable sprinkler system that can help communities conserve water. Adarsh first started working on this project four years ago in response to the droughts he saw in California. In 2016, he ran a pilot program for 10 homes and learned his sprinkler system, which uses a mini computer called Raspberry Pi, could help these homes save 50,000 gallo...ns of water over two months. Since, then Adarsh's project won first prize in the hardware category of the Coolest Projects USA national competition.
