Thursday was moving day! With help from Marcos, Destiny and Lucy, the Fab Five of Danny, Michael, Rafael, Mark and Jimmy are currently living in the newly renovated Levin Residence (formerly known as the apartments) as we prepare for our next project of updating parts of Wilkinson House. #alwayssomething

In addition to Election Day this year, November 3rd is National Sandwich Day! Staff member Marcos and the Wilkinson House celebrated with their own creative take and an important message. Hope you ate a sandwich today!

Thank you everyone who joined us for our Halloween Spooktacular on Friday! Everyone had such fun costumes. We visited Disney's Haunted Mansion on a virtual tour, drew a jack-o-lantern together, and played a game of Halloween Bingo! It was so nice to see so many friends. We even had a visit from Coach Tom! From everyone here at ARC, we hope you had a wonderful Halloween weekend!

This evening the Dolly House staff had a little surprise for the ladies.. and showed up dressed like unicorns! Great costumes Bethany, Leslie, and Kathy!

Day one of kit deliveries was a success! Pumpkin Queen Andrea will be back tomorrow to finish the rest of the drop offs. See you soOoOoOn!

October 18th is National Chocolate Cupcake Day! But does anyone really need an excuse to eat one? Thank you Leslie for making sure the residents had a treat!

We had a great time at Woodley Park! All the participants finished their walks, while others played some croquet and listened to music. We had lunch while we watched a football practice, then cleaned up, and headed home. It was so great to be together outside on a beautiful day. Great job Melinda, Antoinette, Rafael, Jimmy, Tim, Michael, and Danny for completing your 5ks! Thank you staff members Marcos, Ruby, Maria, Fredric, Gaby, Corrine, and Lucy for a great outing!... Thank you to the Shente Family, Marylou, Rosie, and our new ED Phillip Hain for coming out to show support!

On Saturday, 6 ARC clients will be participating in DSALA's Buddy Walk so we're all going to the park to have a picnic and cheer for our friends! If you'd like to meet us there to say hello (physically distanced and masked of course), the plan is to meet up at Woodley Park Section 1. We'll be there from 10a until 2p for some lawn games and lunch!

Did you know October 6th is Mad Hatter's Day? We celebrated by wearing some crazy hats. The Dolly House even made their own!
