Ok. So I've dropped a few of my customers and I am wanting to fill the business back up with good, reliable people. I've been thinking about a way to do that, and I've decided to run a little contest. The 1st person to refer 5 people that sign up for a years service....I will reward that person with 1 year of free yard care. The only catch is it has to be in the Modesto,Turlock/Ceres, Salida,Oakdale/Riverbank area.
I am going to be setting hours for the business. I will be available for business Mon-Fri from 7:30am-5:30pm. Sat will be by appointment only. Sundays will be no work. I appreciate all of you and am so Blessed to have you for my customers. If you need to reach me after hours, all calls will go to voice mail and I will get back to you the next business day. I hope this causes not hard feelings, I need to have the down time and to have time with my wife.
To all my customers and friends. There is a major fungus that is all over the valley and it is literally destroying new lawns and old lawns alike.. I was at my supplier last week(West Turf Nursery is hands down the best) and was told about this fungus hitting the valley. It is NOT carried from lawn mowers it is from the heat and all the wasps that are burrowing into the ground and moving from place to place. This stuff will totally kill and destroy a lawn. Below is the product that I use. And you can use it in the granule form or the spray form.
I'm going to be starting to post weekly pointers/tips for yard care and planting. If any of you have any questions, please ask here on my wall. I would love to share what I know and also to look up and learn new things. So here is the 1st weeks tip. It involves watering. Next week will be about proper mowing height. Again please ask all questions you have. I look forward to learning more and you may have answers to stuff that I dont know.
Thank you to The Holemans for letting me work some magic on the house. Had fun working on it and making in look sexy.

I will still be doing maintenance but I want to do more detail stuff. I also looking into training to do synthetic grass. All sod installs will be refered to a partner of mine. Thanks for everything all. I look forward to really doing more detail stuff and concentrating more on the maintenace and beautifying stuff

Enjoy the rain while we still have it. Yardcare tip of the day. If it it raining turn your sprinkler system to the rain delay setting or turn it completly off. Also never put down fertilzer when we are getting a large rain storm. It does nothing for your yards, Wastes time and money on product and actually washes the chemicals down the storm drains from excessive watering
Just a little note. Just because its raining, don't forget you still have a yard to care for. Proper winter fertilizer and Iron treatments make for a healthy and green lawn come spring time.
