Awesome day at the beach today away from everyone at Deer Creek. Nice swell but south of Point DumE conditions looked awesome for diving. Flat, Blue Water. No waves at all.

In a disastrous year a glimmer of hope appears as Santa supports Aquanautics Dive with new ornaments for the Charlie Brown Christmas in 2020. The Pirozzi Family obviously on the Nice List.

I have some sad news. I am publicly announcing that Aquanauatics Dive is under attack. For some reason even though things are extremely slow because of the pandemic as I am sure most dive stores are doing what they can to keep going and support the dive community. We are under attack. Evidently there is an organized effort by some entity that is trying to undermine our reputation which must be in an effort to raise the standings of another entity. Over recent times we have st...arted getting flattering Google reviews that are completely made up with no reference to real events or people. Then like a back handed compliment they leave a 4 star rating. By leaving enough of them they reduce your overall rating with every review. Assuming you have a higher rating to start. I have looked at all the reviews of us on Google. As those that know us I know almost everyone personally by name and face. Everyone that has left a review that I know are real customers have left 5 star reviews. Thank you. As late as yesterday I received another fictional review with a 4 star rating. In 2 of the reviews they have promoted another local dive store in these posts. I have researched some of these names leaving their reviews and with a little effort you can see they are not genuine. For instance a person that leave a review for us in Sylmar, Ca, another review on the east coast and one in the Midwest. It is clearly a propaganda campaign. I will be reaching out to other dive stores today to warn them. Except for the store that is being promoted in these posts. Sad that someone is resorting to such low brow tactics to promote their business instead of just doing the right thing by relying on their reputation from providing good service to their customers. You can look at the Google reviews online. You will see people mentioning the great times they had in classes we didn't run with instructors we don't have and going out to party afterwards in locations that are 600 miles away from us. The post I received notification of today complements the SSI class that we don't teach and going on the other dive stores boats that we have never used. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
