We are growing again! Busy service department looking to hire 2 new full time service techs. Work with beautiful aquariums and with people that love aquariums. To be considered to join our team, please let us know your aquarium experience or knowledge. Hobbyist aquarium owners welcome! Wages dependent on experience. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining client aquariums, in addition to installing and moving new fish tanks, completing needed repairs, traveling to client locations and helping the team with office or warehouse-related activities. Knowledge and experience required: Basic knowledge of salt and fresh water aquatic life maintenance and aquarium set-up. Excellent customer service skills. Good time management skills A minimum of one year experience, either as a fish enthusiast, aquatic maintenance technician, or with some other related background. Ability to learn and utilize proper cleaning techniques. Basic mechanical ability. Requirements: Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record Must be able to lift and carry 5 gallon jugs weighing 45 pounds multiple times throughout the workday. Bend over to perform aquarium husbandry. Climb and work from a ladder on aquariums.
