The PacWest Executive Board has unanimously agreed for all PacWest competition to begin no earlier than January 2021. Additionally, sports considered by the NCAA to be low-contact/low risk (track & field & tennis) may begin immediate outside competition, as long as it complies with local safety guidelines. With the 2020 Major League Baseball Playoffs underway, Azusa Pacific has a special connection to one of the teams playing. Johnathan Erb, the physical therapist for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was a two-year standout for @apubaseball212 in 2011 & 2012. In his senior campaign in 2012, he was an All-GSAC outfielder and helped lead the Cougars to their final GSAC title and a trip to the NAIA Championship Tournament. On Friday, October 9, the family of Colleen Kausrud will be holding a Celebration of Life at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of Colleen!

Gary Pine, the Director of Athletics at Azusa Pacific, introduces a new video series that will take a look at some aspects and elements of the Cougar Athletics Department over the coming weeks. Additionally, he shares his own journey to Azusa Pacific, and the reasons why he has spent over 35 years within the Athletics Department.

Remembering Colleen Kausrud: A Video Tribute. Less than two weeks ago, beloved Azusa Pacific acrobatics & tumbling head coach Colleen Kausrud passed away. In the days since, thousands of people have mourned the loss of this incredible woman, while also reflecting on the outstanding life she lived. While she is greatly missed, it is clear that her legacy lives on through all who knew her.
