Time to think outside the box... solar isn't just for homes! This 8.3kw installation is on a shop in Sonora. And yes, that is shade on the roof which can't always be avoided in some locations. However, new technology allows the effect of shading to be minimal with the installation of an optimizer. This little piece of equipment is installed under each panel and allows that panel to operate and be monitored individually. Now we have more options for installing solar in wooded areas!
