Antelope Valley Soaring Club

Maciej and I flew all around Antelope Valley today. 11,000+ max altitude. He got over and passed Mt. Baldy - so he winds the Mt. tagging game!!!

Near perfect soaring conditions this last Sat. (Aug.28). 2.5 hours flight - Max. Altitude 13,500. Toured Antelope Valley. Nice and cool at this Altitude!!

Near perfect soaring conditions this Sat. 9/29. 100+ mile flight with Sr. CFI pilot - Jack Gravance.! Too much fun!!

It's not too often that my knees are in the front seat. David takes me soaring today. I wish more club members were here to enjoy this. Not 115 on the ground, but lovely lift.

We spent an hour chasing each other 8,500 feet above the desert floor yesterday! Maceij and me He’s in a Ventus while I’m in a 1-26 E. (Actually we were at 8500 MSL)

Another fun day of soaring at AVSC. Booming thermals Took us easily to 13-14,000 ft. MSL to stay cool and stay aloft and go far.!! The club 1-26, 1-34 and Grob 103 twin were in operation as well as a new private owner flying his recently purchased Ventus B.
