February 4th is an internationally marked day to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. In the Orthodox Church, we have many saints, who through their prayers to God, have caused healings for people living with cancer. We ask for their prayers and intercessions! #WorldCancerDay2020

TEAM NICK VORESIS is back for an eighth year of participation in Sacramento's Run To Feed The Hungry. TEAM NICK VORESIS is our PARISH TEAM for the annual Run to Feed the Hungry, supporting local families through the efforts of the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. In 2018 and 2019 alone, TEAM NICK VORESIS was the second-highest fundraising team and generated over 20,000 meals for Sacramento families in need.
