I began Angels Wings Foundation to give opportunity to the beautiful children of Thailand. It is their sincere light that I hold dearly in my heart and continues to be the driving force of our mission. May we all welcome the new year with good health, optimism and gratitude for the profound lessons learned during this unbelievably challenging year. The covid pandemic may have prevented my annual trip to Thailand but during these uncertain times, it has never been more important for each of us to do our part to lift up one another. Together with Teach for Thailand, I hope that we can continue to be a small part of empowering the bright minds of the Thai youth with a nurturing environment committed to thoughtfulness and academic excellence. It was such a meaningful afternoon for me and my daughter as we mailed 52 scholarship award checks to the 2020 Angels Wings Thai Scholarship recipients.
