Every little step leads towards change. If there something you feel is not going well in your life, make a plan for change, get some support, make a list to provide guidance, boost yourself confidence by doing something positive. And remember, change doesn't happen overnight. It takes persistence and sometimes picking yourself up of the ground, dusting yourself of and finding a new path.

Things don't always go as planned. And that's ok.

a little mental health humor. I always try to remember.....as bad as things can seem they can always be worse. Sometimes it can be extremely difficult, but always try to find a positive in every day.

I've also heard it said "we are our own worst enemies/critics". Often I come across people who's biggest critics are themselves. If the house didn't get cleaned... good enough, or they over reacted to a child's misbehavior. Many people tend to act as if this is a catastrophic event which ruins the entire day or more. Take a step back. Take a deep breath. Don't beat yourself up for mistakes and shortcomings. We all have them. Forgive yourself and evaluate how to do better the next time. Try not to look at every mistake as permanent. There really are very few mistakes that cannot be fixed. See more

I really love this phrase. It is very simple but true, and can be very powerful if heeded. So many of us struggle with events that have happened to us in the past. Being able to move on from past experiences can be as simple as not focusing on negative past memories. We cannot change what has happend, but we can decide how to handle each new day. This does not minimize the memory but maximizes our future.
