Today, in a live address to the nation, President Trump announced that he will begin measures to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement. But make no mistake, O...xfam will still work each and every day to help people on the front-lines of the climate crisis. As President Trump pulls back, we promise to lean in even more to help families who've lost their homes and livelihoods to climate change. And we promise to do all in our power to advocate for communities who are fighting off a crisis they did not create. SHARE NOW to show you stand with poor communities facing climate change!

As members of an international community we celebrate the gift and beauty of our diversity and as citizens of the United States honor our immigrant heritage. I...t is important that we engage in dialogue concerning President Trump’s executive order staying the acceptance of immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim countries. We share the concern with so many that this action demonstrates discrimination against people because of religion. We believe that there is already a process in place to exclude those who would threaten our safety. There may be need for adjustment, but not for radical shutdown. Next week is Thanksgiving which means Giving Tuesday, the global day of giving, is approaching as well! We encourage you to consider how you will give back to ...the causes that are close to your heart on this special day. Your support of NETWORK on Giving Tuesday, and every day, helps us continue our 45-year tradition of working for economic and social justice. Thank you! See more
All of you out there with ties to Angela Center, we want you to know that all on our staff are safe. But Angela Center building was destroyed but our other building, Ursula Hall is still standing and we're hoping habitable. We are closed to any events until further notice and pray that all stay safe. When we are able, we will be at your service.
We all need to speak up!
Join us in praying this prayer for #Earth, our common home. And, commit to action: https://spark.adobe.com/page/Zcb9RVEoCMZcK/ #ParisAgreement #ParisAccord words via Interfaith Power & Light (MD.DC.NoVA)
