Tree trimming day at the office. Thank you City of Modesto - City Hall for coming out so quickly. This city-owned tree was dropping large branches on the street and on the sidewalk just due to weight reasons, we think. We called the city and a works crew came out within a day to abate this dangerous condition. If only we'd been smart enough to take a Before photo also. (If it helps, close your eyes and imagine all of those branches and leaves that are on the street up in the tree.)

Drug dealer appears in court in Michigan on a criminal case. The judge ends up mentoring him. Dealer gets his life together and, 16 years later, that same judge swears him in as a new attorney.

Man is sentenced for a November 2018 crash that killed a family of 3 in Lancaster, CA. Davion Murphy, then age 21, drove while high on marijuana and ran a red light. He was convicted of three counts of 2nd degree murder.

Handcuffed suspect being brought into the Main Jail last night in San Jose, California by the San Jose Police Department was able to access the rear cargo area of the squad car he was in. Suspect got a hold of a firearm stored back there and engage in a standoff for about 4 hours before surrendering peacefully. On July 5, 2020, this same type of incident happened to the San Diego Police Department. That suspect ended up being shot, but survived. Youtube video of that shooting in the comments.

California's 2020 bar exam is now set for October and will be done "remotely" somehow. Lowering the passing score by 50 points seems to me to be unrelated to corona virus.
