Once COVID-19 vaccines are publicly available, all Medicare members will be able to receive a vaccine at no cost from in-network or out-of-network healthcare professionals. Covered members will be notified by email and mail in the coming weeks.... COVID-19 vaccines may not be widely available for several months. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that healthcare workers and residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities be the first to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
