Sandy - Day 6: Noticed a few long white hairs stuck to the handle of his feed bucket. He has been up to his full ration of minerals for 3 days now, could this already be causing him to shed the Cushings coat? Wish I had drawn his blood for ACTH before I started. Oh well, we'll try to draw it before adding Pergolide, will help decide what the right dosage will be.

Greetings from Anders Equine-land! And now presenting my latest project - Sandy! Many of you know Sandy, a 23 yr old Arab gelding with fairly advanced Cushing's Syndrome. I'm going to try and work with my farrier to correct his feet, and of course get his health back in line with a custom mix made just for him!
