On October 17th, we will be taking part in another fun Picnic on Temescal event! There will be food and music and witchcraft, oh, my! We're also releasing the new, improved, spell kits! They're full of candles, crystals, oils, roots, and instructions. (Despite the fact that we have all these lovely red boxes, I was not encouraged to create a Blood of Mine Enemies spell kit. Mutter mutter) Come out and join in the fun! Three card tarot readings for a mere ten dollars!

We have some sad and troubling news. Our main candle (and other products) supplier contracted COVID. We got news recently that he has passed. He was a good man who really helped us in the short time we knew him. His company is liquidating their stock, and we are ordering as much as we can. His son has offered to connect us with their supplier, but right now we are uncertain as to the impact on getting candles and some other products. We ask for your patience and understan...ding as we work to develop new sources. Hail the goer. Hat is remembered lives.

We are making some changes to our Tarot readings. Since we are limited to the number of customers in the store, we need to go to an appoinment based system for readings. We are changing to 15 minute blocks for readings, and when you call you can request up to 30 minutes. This is so we can give readings to as many folks as need them. One 15 minute block will cost $25.00 ($50.00 for a half hour.)... At this time, we only have one reader, Don. We are working to bring other readers on board, and also hope to host Guest Readers from time to time. Besides Tarot readings, we hope to offer Rune readings in the near future. Please check this page or the Ancient Ways website for details.

What goes on behind the curtain? We are almost ready to start giving Tarot readings again. We have to change how we do readings. We will be making a longer post very soon explaining the changes. Thank you all for your patience!

While the Governor is lifting the COVID restrictions today, Ancient Ways will continue to limit the number of customers in the store (4 at a time), require masks, and working to clean and sterilize to keep our beloved customers safe.

We continue to have difficulties getting more candles. We have orders placed with two different suppliers, and are looking for other resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Pictures of the new floor! It looks darker in the pictures than it does in person, but it's pretty nice. This is part of what we need the GoFundMe for. We are still $3,616 from our goal. We thank everryone for their generosity. It is so humbling and gratifying to have so much love from our supporters.

The construction is done. We are waiting on permits from the city so we can place the storage pods on the street and get loaded in. It's been over a week, but they have acknowledged the request. The city also said we should not contact them or we could reset the process. It's more than a little frustrating, but we really hope to have more info any day. Thanks for sticking with us!... As soon as we know more we will make an announcement.

We are working on getting the permits to have the storage PODs delivered so we can move back into the store. Unfortunately, the City offices are only available by appointment. We are working on completing the process. Should be moving forward again soon.

Hello friends. We just got word that we can start moving into the back of the store! The floor still needs to be installed, but that should take a couple of days. We hope to start moving in in the next week or so! Watch this space for updates.

A quick update. We are still waiting for the finishing touches to be completed (paint, new floor, etc.) before we can move back in. We will post dates as soon as we have them. On the product front, we spoke with one of our main candle suppliers today. They are back in their warehouse and beginning to receive new candles! We should be able to get candles when we have the space again.... We are really ready to move forward.

We hit our original GoFundMe goal of $10k this morning! Thank you all so very much for your support and love. We are considering this a great victory. ... We did increase our goal to $15k in order to cover the renovations to the store (new paint and flooring).
