October is pregnancy and infant loss month. Pregnancy loss happens more often than the general public is aware but for those women who have lost a pregnancy this reality is far to real. In the majority of pregnancy loss cases the loss is due to genetics and the second largest cause is unknown. This means that there is no identifiable reason for the loss. It is so important that women and families know that there is nothing that could have been done to prevent this loss and ...that nothing they did caused the loss. There is so much guilt and even shame when a miscarriage happens. There is stigma associated with something that no one could control. There are women and families that have experienced these losses multiple times. Today, I am sending so much love and light to those women and those families dealing with this unbelievable painful loss.

An important update regarding our September 1st opening: As of right now, Anaya Women's OB/GYN Group will not be opening in the location that we had previously secured. We will be working hard to find and make home another location for you all shortly, but until then, kindly be patient with us as we navigate some uncharted waters. We want nothing more than to see you in our office, and we will do so very soon! Hi everyone! I am Dr. Annette Hollingsworth-Moore, a board certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist and owner of Anaya Women’s Group! I completed my residency training at Loma Linda University where I received awards for compassion, teaching and research during my training. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and love to create a welcoming environment where every woman who walks through my doors feels welcomed, seen, and heard.
