This week, KPC Health’s Global Medical Centers in Orange County received thousands of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccines distributed by the County of Orange Health Care Agency. This morning, we witnessed history as hundreds of frontline healthcare workers including physicians, surgeons, nurses, engineers, and environmental service workers were among the first to begin receiving vaccines administered in Orange County to inoculate them from the Coronavirus disease. These workers are ...on the frontlines of fighting COVID-19 every single day in our Emergency Rooms, ICUs, and COVID units treating patients, cleaning patient rooms, maintaining the facilities, and so much more. We will continue to receive weekly vaccine shipments and wont rest until we have ensured every healthcare worker that chooses to receive the vaccine has been afforded that opportunity. Once we have worked through our healthcare workers we look forward to offering vaccine clinics for the public once the CDC has announced we have reached that phase. See more
