An Integrated Experience 04.10.2021

I came across this today and it's too perfect not to share. How are you making use of these in your life? Sometimes it's a struggle to give yourself time, be ok with where you are, or let go of what you are holding onto. They are all part of those processes that make us human. Taking a few moments to realize that and thank them for being part of you gives you a chance to decide you are ok where you are or make a decision to start fresh. ... One thing I know for sure....you are doing amazing where you are today-even if you aren't feeling it!

As we start another week ..how bright is your light? And if you need, can you find ways to quickly turn it up? Breath work, centering and fresh air/sunshine help me stay collected. What do you lean to? Regardless of where you are, know your beauty shines through. And is uniquely you Hello beautiful people!

January brings with a lot of people new goals, resolutions and intentions. It is easy to look forward to the end goal and quickly fall into overwhelm. Here's the thing...we each have an ability to pause and breathe life/energy/purpose into being right where we are. Change of any sort happens one step at a time. Taking a measured step daily will get you to your goal, meet your resolution or intention. ... Start where you are and while you do that.... acknowledge yourself! It takes awareness and courage to step further down the path of who you want to become!

I came across this quote earlier this week. It's really resonated, not just for myself and my individual journey, but about the year we have collectively experienced (or endured). Sharing here as a reminder...you each are the light. As someone looks forward through what may seem a dark tunnel...you may be the light they are reaching for as you have for others. We are all more connected than we know. If this resonates with you as well, or you are in need of connection, I am here.and happy to talk.

Gratitude is not just for this week. For me it is often part of a way of being. Finding something each day to recognize in gratitude makes the hard things a little less hard and the easy things a bit more joyful. Our Thanksgiving tradition these past many years has been to host my in laws for the long weekend. This year will be different...with everyone at home. We will find joy in time where we are, as hard as that can be.. And in these lovely flowers sent by my mother-in-l...aw to our home. It is the best gift to watch them slowly open and know they will perfectly fit our Thanksgiving table this year. While our home will be less full, we will carry everyone with us, connect via zoom, and make space for a healthy and safe return to celebrating together in the future. I wish you and yours a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. May you find a piece of joy (and maybe some pie) in your day and week.

So what does it mean to have an Integrated Experience anyway? I've thought a lot about how to share this. It's simple-yet so powerful to experience. And while easy to explain-the essence of it could be easily missed in its simplicity. It is a moment, or many together, when our thoughts, feelings and actions are completely in alignment. When we are acting in accordance with our desires and our heart-without second guessing ourselves-and we are consciously aware of and cr...eating that moment. I used to believe that these moments were fleeting and just sort of happened magically on their own. I now know that we can consciously create them and the more intentional we are about doing that, the more often they occur. It is my joy to help others create this environment for themselves through coaching. We dive into the "muck" (whatever you feel may be keeping you stuck or holding you back), filter through it to find your path through, then you emerge-a bit brighter and much clearer on your pathway to blooming where you are and into what you want.

I hit a rough patch a few weeks ago. I know many have in this season of uncertainty and the unexpected. I started to reflect on what is. What I am so blessed to have and started to ask...what is the opportunity here and now? How can I look at things differently? What beauty bueaty can I find. Sometimes it easy to shift your mindset. Other times..not so much and you might need to remind yourself 80 times a day. It doesn't mean things aren't still challenging but maybe, just ...maybe, our experience can shift just enough to ease some of that discomfort or notch it down just enough that we don't notice it as much. Here is what I shifted into....what if all of 2020 is preparing us to be better equipped for whatever each of our futures hold? What if remote school is preparing my child for his future...one that I couldn't dream of but he is destined for? What if the challenges facing our society are helping is return to our humanity and connection by making us very aware of how much it can hurt to be separated from each other? So many beautiful "what ifs" to lean into to help be in the present moment. What are your what ifs? How do they support your why and help you in your now? The possibilities can be endless...

I've been thinking a lot on resilience over the past few months, and especially the past week as we set for virtual schooling-- an additional something new and unplanned for this year. So many gifts or opportunities life will bring us-depending on the lens we choose to use to look at this. "The most resilient among us are people who generally don’t dwell on the negative, who look for opportunities that might exist even in the darkest times."... ***Question for all of you: How do YOU find resilience in your life? How are YOU resilient?*** The NY Times had a series on this earlier in the year and I keep returning to this article. There are some great prompts at the end if you are looking to build more resilience in your life. I wanted to share with you all today. Let me know if you are curious or would like any support in exploring this question! https://www.nytimes.com//resilience-relationships-trauma.h
