Beauty VS BEING beautiful. Beauty is a stationary moment captured in a picture or a statue - it’s cold/static and something that cannot change. It is standard set of shapes and forms. BEING beautiful is an action - it’s a state of self that is an evolution/constant change and seen in actions. It is unique to each person like a fingerprint. . I know I know I talk about weight training ALL the time BUT truly it taught me the difference between beauty and being beautiful. . I a...m a woman - of course I want to have beauty - I am trained from infancy that beauty is one the most powerful tools at my female disposal. BUT being beautiful is EVEN more powerful because it is what makes each human uniquely themselves. . The action of moving heavier and heavier weight - doing something I didn’t know my body could do - that’s BEiNG beautiful for me. The murder of females by partner or ex-partners. There has been a steady rise in femicides in Turkey, black and white photos of women flashing on the news to show the most recent victim. . #breonnataylor was not a victim of femicide but she was a murder victim by the police in our country.
