Another @aemelectronics gauge install from last week. We recommend AEM digital oil pressure gauges into all of our builds and anytime we install a built engine. Having an oil pressure gauge is a great way to verify oil pressure pre start up as well as being able to catch an oil pressure early before catastrophic failure. You get what you pay for with gauges and the digital gauge allows you install the sensor on a remote or straight to the engine. I’d like to thank @fealsuspension for the amazing service. We run and recommend Feal products to all our customers. Busy day here at the shop. Not one, but two engine rebuilds fired up Today. We spend the next few days putting heat cycles on the rings, checking for leaks, and flushing the oil before they go back to the owners. @ Amor Autosport

@aemelectronics oil pressure and wideband gauges installed into this VA STI. Oil pressure is a great gauge to add to your car, we highly recommend to anybody after doing an engine build. Having a gauge like this can be the difference between catching an oil pressure issue pre bearing failure. On the FA engines specifically after an engine failure the cam gears and timing cover/oil pump assembly need to be replaced. At $250 a gear and $350 for the timing cover it’s not a cheap expense.

The red gets me everytime. Finished up some preventative maintenance with an aftermarket aluminum radiator. Not only does this radiator cool more efficiently but you don’t have to worry about the plastic end tanks cracking and leaving you stranded on the side of the highway. We know how sensitive these engines are to overheating, only takes once to cause head gasket issues.
