Luna is looking so stylish with her green goggles! Those goggles are used to protect her eyes while she receives her laser therapy treatment. What is laser therapy? Laser therapy is a noninvasive treatment that uses light waves to cause photobiomodulation, or the alteration of cellular and tissue physiology. Light absorbed by cellular components stimulates electrons and activates cells to promote growth and repair. Laser therapy is commonly used to treat chronic art...hritis, surgical incisions, and tendon and ligament injuries. During a laser therapy session, a handheld laser wand is slowly moved back and forth over the damaged tissue, producing a warm, pleasant sensation that most pets enjoy!
