As you know ALS is in its first year of candidacy of becoming an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) School. At the heart of the IB PYP program are the Learner Profile Attributes. These attributes unites us all with a common focus on the whole person, as a lifelong learner. There will be no distance learning or mobile meal service on Monday, February 8, in observance of Lincoln's Day. To ensure students have meals on the holiday, N...utrition Services will distribute extra meals on Friday, February 5, from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM at all 15 mobile meal service locations and 5-6 PM at any 5 evening meal service locations. "Although American Lakes School will be closed during our winter break which runs form Dec19th - Jan 3rd, some of our essential services will continue to be available for our families, such as our COVID testing center and our Social Emotional support for students which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days out of the year.
