Today the people of Israel celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut - Israel's 72nd birthday. On May 14, 1948, Jewish leaders, headed by future Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion read and signed the Declaration of Independence in Tel Aviv and declared the rebirth of the State of Israel. Since then, Israel’s Independence Day is celebrated on the fifth day of the Hebrew month of Iyar, on the Jewish calendar and marks the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Israel in 1948. Due to COVID-19 today’s celebration in Israel looks very different but the spirit remains the same. The AIT Team

Travel Update: April 6, 2020 Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been impacted by the Covid-19 global crisis. Based on current travel restrictions in place around the world, we have made the difficult, yet necessary, decision to suspend all our tours scheduled to run up to and including May 31, 2020. We anticipate that we will be able to resume travel starting from June 2020. We are in the process of contacting those scheduled to travel during April and May in order to offer alternatives and options. We are working around the clock to get back to everyone and your continued patience and support means so much to us. We all pray that this global crisis will soon end. Your AIT team
