For the next 30 days, ambsn creative director @dylpykol will be sharing a drawing a day as a form of mediation, self reflection and creative growth. Some posts might be funny, some might be sad, we would love to hear how they make you feel. See original copy from @dylpykol Vulnerability alert: I am not one to get deep or open up much about my personal life, but I am working on a personal 30-day challenge as a form of meditation, self reflection and a hope for creative gr...owth. I would be preaching to the choir if I said 2020 has been, for the most part, the worst. Don’t get me wrong, I have had opportunities to spend an amazing amount of time with my family, have made a few fun road trips, and have been able to work on projects that I wouldn’t have had time to otherwise. But as a typically introverted person, isolation and lack of access to my normal inspiration pools have caused a greater amount of inner anxiety, depression and loss of direction. So for 30 days (I tried to start last week but got side tracked so we will count this as day 26), I am planning on taking a few hours each morning to create a drawing or animation. My hope is that this can help me battle my anxiety and depression, and hopefully come out of this inspired. Feel free to tell me if these drawings are complete shit, or if they do anything for you, I feel like good or bad they will help me grow and hopefully they will inspire you as well. Thank you! -Dylan Todays drawing is for my Granny who died last week. When I think of her I think of Poppies and sleeping under the stars in Missoula Montana, so this vase of wild Poppies is for my Granny. RIP See more
