Who loves to travel? And who hates jetlag, everyone right?! When Andrew and I went to Paris we stayed awake the entire first day to get our bodies used to the time change. Oh. My. Goodness! Today was incredible! When Natalie told me about Paul’s family history with the island, I knew today was going to be one for the books. The boat ride over had me in tears with how many dolphins there were. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the entire family as they were relaxing at their family home. We hiked for some breathtaking views that I wish we could of had more time at....Let me just say the island did not disappoint and neither did this incredibly stunning couple. #amberjeanphotography

Today’s wedding was so full of emotion. There was not a dry eye at today’s ceremony. Sofia and Brian’s story is so incredible. I can’t believe it was only a few months ago that this man was paralyzed and unable to walk or stand. They had to put off planning their wedding when the accident happened. So this day has been a long time coming! Today they got married surrounded by their entire support system of family and friends. There was so much love to be felt in the room. I’m beyond thankful to @beckydavisphotography for capturing one of the hardest times in my life. We barely made it to our maternity session. I had just gotten released from the hospital and was not really up for photos. We had been in the ER almost daily since the time I was 6 weeks pregnant. I almost miscarried twice, multiple surgeries with only local anesthesia, chronic migraines, and had been diagnosed with #hyperemesisgravidarum it seemed like at every turn something wou...ld go wrong. My body was literally just shutting down. And yet here we were, unshowered, lack of sleep, greasy hair and all. I’m so glad we pushed through the pain to take these photos. She really made us look so good And I will never forget the magic of feeling Hunter grow inside. That despite the odds he was healthy. I would have never imagined that Hunter would literally become one of my best little exploring buddies. That we would end up sharing some of the most perfect days together. This feels so long ago now, it hurts. I miss being able to hold this little one without my arm feeling like it’s going to fall off. We would spend every day of spring walking through the hills looking at wildflowers. I’d put Hunter in the most ridiculous outfits because his mamas a photographer and I had the perfect model and needed to take advantage I’m so glad I did. So mamas out there my one piece of advice... never apologize for taking too many photos of your kid. They grow so fast and they are fun to look at together when they are older #amberjeanphotography

Just looking at them you would not know everything they have been through. Sofia and Bryan have known each other since high school. They got engaged under the moss filled trees on the east coast and began planning their wedding soon after. One day, as they were just having a relaxing day at the beach tragedy struck. Bryan was in the water body surfing when he hit a sandbar head on. It left him instantly paralyzed from the neck down. They rushed him to the hospital where doct...ors told him he had severed his spinal cord, shattering his C5 vertebrae and fracturing his C6. He was immediately rushed to surgery and told he probably wouldn’t walk again. After a long road of recovery, here he is WALKING with his fiancée who has been with him every step of the way. While he still has a long road of recovery, they are both just so thankful he is alive and excited to be married in just two weeks! 5 years together // Before we got married Andrew was my best guy friend. Both of us had dated other people and were not interested in each other AT ALL. Every date I went on I kept saying, I wish they were more like Andrew but I could never date Andrew because we are just friends Little did I know he was feeling the same way. At some point I realized how I felt and was about to call Andrew and say we can’t hangout like we were anymore because I liked him. Well luckily he called me first and asked me out on a date!
