One of our club members, Kalpana Mohan, is a writer and she was invited to share about her books in our local IBM diversity group this morning. Way to leverage Toastmasters communication skills to entertain 60 attendees! As she said and demonstrated, it's key for us to be able to speak about our work, in the workplace and any settings, you are the best to promote YOUR work! Way to represent, Kalpana! We’ve done the Ice Breaker-a-then! today for the first time in our club. 3 new members delivered their first speech and let us know about themselves. All were nervous but they said that they also enjoyed their speech. We were also really glad to hear their impressive speeches.... See you all next Friday virtually at 12:00!
